Kittens

Stiches

On her way to pick up her dog that had surgery on the van that day, a woman actually saw someone in the car ahead of her throw a tiny kitten out of the car window!

She mercifully stopped and picked it up. It had a huge gash across its head and virtually no skin left on its little nose; it clearly had some head trauma. The Vet on the van stitched up the head, gave him antibiotics, and said he wasn't sure he would live.

Jane, of course, brought him home and nursed him a great deal for the first 48 hrs. He, now named "Stitches" started coming around, was taking a little replacement milk. Never stopped purring.
