It will be used to operate the spay/neuter mobile van in the underserved areas of San Miguel County.

The van costs around $2,000.00 per day. About 25 pets can be fixed per day so the average cost is ~$75.00 per pet, and about 27 pets can be fixed per day. That includes an exam, and needed vaccinations as well as the surgery. In many cases this is the only time the dog or cat will get any medical attention.
